According to the 1998 Population Census of Pakistan[citation needed], Sindhi-speaking households make up 59.7% of Sindh's population; Urdu-speaking households make up 21.1%; Punjabi 7.0%; Pashto 4.2%; Balochi 2.0%; Saraiki 1.0% and other languages 5.0%. Other languages include Gujarati, Memoni, Kutchi (last one being the dialect of Sindhi), Khowar, Thari, Persian/Dari, Luri and Brahui.
